The team at your Nillumbik Leisure Facilities are excited to announce that members and swim lesson families will soon be able to use the sessional child care services across the Nillumbik Leisure Facilities for FREE during your visit.
We understand the financial challenges that many face in our community which often causes a barrier to maintain memberships and swim lesson enrolments; with many spending a further $30 per week or more on child care in centre.
After a full review of the service and to show our support for the community we have made the decision to remove fees to provide you more opportunities to remain active and engaged. To do this, we are needing to make some small changes to days and sessions our services will operate.
Prior to making these changes we need your feedback to ensure we have the mix of service times correct to meet the needs of the community.
Our survey is now open and will be available for completion by current child care customers and those who are interested in using our services in the future. The survey will close on Sunday 5th September.
We are aiming to implement these changes when Diamond Creek Community Centre and Eltham Leisure Centre re-open after the current lockdown. We will provide further updates to the services at Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre as the redevelopment comes to completion.
Please note the following:
- FREE sessional child care will only be available for members and swim lesson members with an active and current membership or enrolment
- For members and swim lesson members with current child care visit passes – a member of our team will be in contact after we open to discuss your options
- Fees will still apply for customers using the centres on a casual visit or multi visit pass
- Fees will still apply for customers using the occasional care service within centre
- All children must have an approved and completed enrolment form prior to using the child care service
